We have an immediate and ongoing need for a family practice physician to provide locum tenens coverage for a rural clinic in Minnesota. The current need is for 4-5 days per week or 2-3 weeks per month. The patient mix includes all ages, and the average case load is 18-24 patients per day. Family physicians with OB are a plus but not required. This assignment will involve outpatient, inpatient, ER, and OB. OB is flexible, but the locum will need to provide back-up coverage in the ER and supervise APPs. There is a full lab, imaging, EKG, CT, and ultrasound but no procedures. Candidates must be board certified with clean license, history and references. ATLS or CALS certifications are also required.
