We are seeking a child/adolescent psychiatrist for a locum tenens opportunity with a school-based services program in various locations throughout central in Indiana. The assignment will begin as soon as the candidate is credentialed and is expected to continue for several months. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm, but there is flexibility to be full or part-time. The program is targeted for at-risk students, adolescents and children age 5 and older. In addition to individual, group and family therapy, other services will include general screening and assessments, case management, medication management, crisis intervention, transitional care services, diagnostic and intensive services, and training activities of daily living. The average daily census is 1-2 intakes per day and 10 medication management cases. Notes are documented using EMR. There will be no call, supervision or resident oversight. Candidates must be board certified in child/adolescent psychiatry or board eligible within 5 years of residency.
