Looking for a board-certified Internal Medicine Physician to provide patient-centered care for adults in our expanding primary care practice.  Join four other Physicians, three Med-Peds Physicians, and one pediatrician and seven advanced practice providers; nurse practitioners and physician assistants.  Medical assistants are utilized to provide the necessary support to our medical providers, in total there are approximately 45 people.  

 The Medical Center is a successful Primary Care Clinic growing consistently since opening in 2001. We have a reputation for providing excellent care to the community. With convenient hours and well-trained staff, we provide medical care 365 days a year; including nights, weekends and holidays. Job Details:

  • 16-20 patients per day
  • The call is shared with a total of 4 Physicians and by phone only
  • Work with the primary healthcare team to provide patients with primary medical care services within the standard of care for Internal Medicine patients.
  • Order laboratory and radiology test and refer patients to specialists when appropriate.
  • Prescribe pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens to treat identified and documented medical conditions.
  • Adhere to departmental policies, procedures and objectives, ongoing quality improvement objectives and safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all federal and state health information privacy laws.
  • Record complete, timely and legible medical records.

Job Requirements:

  • Completion of M.D. or D.O. degree from fully accredited medical school.
  • Completion of residency program in the specialty.
  • Board Certified
  • Experience providing primary care and diagnostic services in a clinical setting.
  • Experience prescribing appropriate medications, treatments and health regimens to treat patient health issues.
  • Experience collaborating with specialists to explore patient health conditions and diagnose health issues.
  • Experience working in a team of healthcare professionals and collaborating with them to ensure positive, effective patient experiences with our organization.
  • Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
  • Current license to practice and DEA.
