A facility in Texas has a locum tenens need for a board certified or board eligible anesthesiologist starting in October. Candidates must have a clear background, PALS certification, experience in peds, experience in NICU and preferably fellowship trained in PEDS with NRP. The schedule is 3 weeks on 1 week off with anesthesiologists taking beeper call from home, coming in for operative cases and covering 1 weekend a month. Cases include general, trauma, ortho, endo, urology, GYN, podiatry and OB. The locum will be doing NICU neuro (some shunts, no hearts) and general NICU (necrotizing enterocolitis & gastroscopies).
