This is a full-time benefited position working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday (may include periodic Saturday hours); however, you have the ability to work three, four or five day work weeks.

Provides direct clinical care in accordance with highest applicable standards of medical practices, in full accordance with health center policies and protocols.
Maintains accurate medical records through our electronic health records system.
Assists with day to day oversight of NP/PAs.
Assists with implementation of site quality improvement initiatives.
Provides direct clinical care in accordance with highest applicable standards of medical practices, in full accordance with health center policies and protocols.
Acts as primary consultant on all cases assigned to the clinician based on the medical specialty.
Provides supervision in case management and procedures to NP, PA as needed including sign-off on charts, co-signatures for forms and prescriptions.


Job Requirements:

Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Practice and possess a current CA Medical Licensure and a desire to work with multi-cultural, high-risk patients in outpatient primary care.
Commitment to a community health philosophy of wellness, prevention and primary care.
Bilingual preferred but not required.

General Skills Required

Have a thorough knowledge of the principles and practices of medicine and allied services commensurate with his/her training.
Demonstrated ability to build the trust and respect of patients, staff, colleagues, external contacts, and other organizational members.
Good problem solving skills required, including creativity, resourcefulness, timeliness, and technical knowledge related to analyzing and resolving medical problems.
Willingness and ability to work periodic evenings and/or weekends, as needed.
The ideal candidate must be dedicated to building a collaborative team model of care, and ideally experienced working with the under-served.
