Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Gastroenterology in Oxford, MS - Specialty: Gastroenterology Location: Oxford, MS Reason For Coverage:  Additional Coverage Needed, lost the GI group Dates: Flexible schedule; they would like blocks of coverage, ongoing. Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Gastroenterology in Southhaven, MS - COVERAGE REQUIREMENTS Gastroenterology (GI) * Start as soon as privileged - ongoing POSITION DETAILS Gastroenterology (GI) * Inpatient * Mon-Fri: 8a-5p with evening and weekend call * They will accept candidates who just want to work the day shift or just want to work evening and weekend call. Will have the option to do both if desired * Will see new consults and perform procedures during the day * Average 5-10 new consults per day * The current GI hospitalist averages about 60 colonoscopies and EGDs weekly.
