October 10, 2018 Physicians WifeTo Whom It May Concern: My name is Mary Ann Gallas, and I have had the privilege of working with Mr. Mike Rocha during my husband’s current job search. My husband, Dr. Steven Gallas, and I had been considering relocating for a better career opportunity for some time. When we decided to seriously start pursuing his job search, we were lucky enough to connect with Mr. Rocha. After speaking with my husband about his career goals and completing the traditional “recruiter routine,” Mike did something very different. He asked to get to know our family better. He asked Steven about his family, and then to speak to me. Mike wanted to know how my husband and I met, where we grew up, and about our children. By getting to know my husband and our family better, Mike is not only able to find a position that my husband approves of, but also a place where our entire family can flourish. During this process, Mike has been professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Most importantly, even during stressful situations, he has put my family first. For example, just hours before my husband and I were scheduled to fly out for an important interview, my uncle was put on hospice and my mom’s flight to come watch my children was canceled due to weather. There was no way I was able to leave that morning. When he could have been frustrated and pushy, Mike was kind, patient, and understanding. We were able to make the decision that was best for our family and reschedule.
